I've just got a Steam Link.
When not burning rubber it's nice to mess around with other games (or is that sacrilege to say?). I've got so many cheap games through Steam, but the family won't appreciate me locked away all evening. The Steam Link allows me to use the power of my gaming rig, but stream it to any TV in the house (just an alternative to a very long HDMI cable).
I've heard people say linking it via WiFi is a bit flaky, so cable plugged in - except I use Powerline adaptors (ethernet via mains). It does work, but I still get an occasional screen freeze for a few seconds. Luckily my Logitech wireless gamepad is still within range of the PC, and also a bluetooth keyboard/trackpad combination is recognised by the little black box.
Even got movies via Kodi streaming well.
I'm tempted to get the latest Tombraider game now, I enjoyed the last one on PS3.
