Did some laps with the BMW. Really fun car to drive. :D

Are you going to open damper settings some time in the future? The BMW definitely needs a stiffer front damping at Brands Hatch.

Cheers!

Flat Spotting - an Explanation

The BTCC cars are very well known for "cocking" the right rear, and it is always the right rear that takes an age, if it ever does get up to temp. This is why if you watch my BTCC tyre Test video, they swap the right and left rear, with the right and left fronts after one lap, they also do this in qualification.

It flat spots ( only briefly ) and Festa_PWR can correct me if I am wrong, as it depends on a few factors:

1) How fast you enter the corner
2) How much you apply the brakes
3) The camber of the corner

So for example, the right rear cocks (no traction) but stops spinning, then the wheel lands, and as it lands, it still locked which has to be a TC setting in AC, as the other 3 wheels are still moving. Although, I have disabled TC as Factory setting for these cars, as there is no TC with AC it doesn't seem to be completely turned off unless you do CTRL+T and CTRL+A (ABS) I have tried to turn this completely off with doing other things.

YOU STILL WITH ME

So a simple version is:

You Brake
The car tilts due to camber of track and weight distribution
The Rear right Cocks
It stops spinning, all other 3 wheels continue turning
It lands, as it is locked, it flat spots (every so slightly)
I have done so many laps, the loss of grip is very very minimal, but, its what they do IRL.

Hope that explains it

Thank you for the BTCC mod!

Any chance for more cars in the mod pack in the future?
