Raceday 3 of the OLFSL mini-season PDF Print E-mail

ImageRaceday 3 started on 20th of February 2005 at Fern Bay Club rev. Two starts for at least 20 laps. Again only 2 of the 10 Triple7Racing drivers went to Fern Bay:

(131) [T7R] three_jump
and
(911) [T7R] BBO

They both started in Pool 2 ...

Qualification Pool2:

three_jump did a real good job here finishing on 2nd place after FAC Mice. BBO was on 3rd but short before end of qualifying he was catched by [TRK]FelixS and NeokilleR, so it was the 5th for him.

Race1 of Pool 2:
Image
At the the first corner NeokilleR touched [TRK]FelixS and they both had to go slower. BBO took his chance and passed them on the inside of the first corner.

ImageOn Lap 3 three_jump was on the green and BBO at his back. But the golden rule is don't crash with a teammate, so he lifted up the pedal and stayed behind.

Image
After that Larini came closer to BBO and the fight between them began. Larini was trying to pass him on every lap till the 9th. Tobias Walter came from behind and touched Larini, so BBO could take a little breath.

ImageEnd of lap 10 Larini did a little mistake and Tobias Walter was on 4th now but only till the end of lap 13. Larini got his place back and he again started to attack BBO heavily (but fair), but he couldn't pass him till the end of race. So, it's the 3rd for BBO, the 2nd for three_jump and FAC Mice took the first.

Race2 of Pool 2:
Image
A crash and the a highflying NeokilleR almost hit BBO. But everything went well. BBO was soon on 2nd place.

ImageIn lap 4 BBO lost control and drifted to the green and on the track again. Larini passed him but unfortunatly three_jump was also comming along the way and couldn't avoid the crash. 3j lost his 3rd place. So sorry about that.

Image
On lap 7 to 9 three_jump and BBO changed places a few times and at the end they both passed [TRK]FelixS on the 3rd. Larini was still on place 1 and FAC Mice on 2nd.

ImageOn the 11th lap [TRK]FelixS took over three_jump. On lap 13 FAC MICE took the lead from Larini and on lap 14 [TRK]FelixS passed BBO. Short in front of the chicane in lap 20 BBO wanted to much and strafes the curbes, spinning and hitting the tires after that he was passed by three_jump. The final result of this race: FAC Mice again on the first, Larini 2nd, [TRK]FelixS 3rd, three_jump on the 4th and BBO 5th.

Results:

The Triple7Racing drivers did a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th and a 5th place that day. Could have been more but the next race will come.

Next week on a racetrack near you:

The Last race of the miniseason is going to be held on the 27th of February 2005 on Blackwood. Two starts for 16 laps with FR (GT/GTI) cars.

Regards,
