For Event 4 (rounds 7 & 8), all 9 competitors gathered at the small Fern Bay Green RallyX track. Being run in the reverse configuration, the RB4 was the only car available.

With M4Driving providing the server, and Fordman once again organising proceedings, there was a sense of familiarity about events, but the fear of 9 cars heading into the first corner was never far from the surface.

The next event sees the championship take arguably their least favourite car - the MRT5 round the Unofficial 2 track at South City.

Qualifying

The single lap qualifying was starting to sort the men from the boys. Interceptor set the early pace eventually securing another pole, although Bismarck did close to within 0.04s of his time late in the session.

Race 1 - 20 Laps

There was fear of the first corner before the race, and it was soon realised when half the grid were involved in a 'racing incident'.

Interceptor kept out of trouble and collected the win by 8 seconds from Basem. BBO was the biggest forward mover of the race, improving by four places from his starting grid slot.

Race 2 - 21 Laps (reversed grid)

Having had several moments in Race 1, and collecting the fastest lap, Race 2 was looking good for Three_Jump - now starting from 3rd.

A clean start was desired, but unfortunately avoided by all but the leading four drivers.

However, Bismarck and Interceptor both drove awesome races, each improving by six places giving them 1st and 3rd positions respectively, sandwiching Three_Jump.

Overall

Despite the concerns of running nine cars round this small track, were virtually no major incidents to report.

With his good results in both races, Interceptor now leads Three_Jump by 6 points, with Bismarck only 1 point further back. (0) Comments
