 The new mini-season in OLFSL ( http://www.lfs-league.com/ ) started on 6th Feb. 2005 and this time the Triple7Racing Team took part with the following drivers:(747) [T7R] Basem (911) [T7R] BBO (720) [T7R] D34N0 (003) [T7R] Shaun C (131) [T7R] three_jump Unfortunately most of our team-members had to start in pool3 only three_jump had to start a bit earlier in pool4 with the two 25 lap races. The 2 races were held on South City Classic REV with MRT. Not a typical team car but we tried to give our best in that "little lawnmower"...  Qualification Pool3:D34N0 did a real great job and was in first place, short before qualification was over BBO went down from 2nd to 4th, Shaun C was on 5th and Basem on 6th place. Basem had some problems and had to quit before the race starts, so there were only 3 of us left. Race 1 Pool3:  BBO started really good from 4th to 3rd in first corner. A mistake in lap 8 and [XP]-Bandino- gets back his 3rd place. In lap 13,14,15 they changed places a few times. In lap 16 the lag caught BBO and he hits the wall and [XP]-Bandino- catches up the 3rd again and hold it till the end of race. Bad Luck for Shaun C he had a little problem in the chicane in lap 1 and found himself right after this on the 8th place. He is a fighter and he got back to 7th, 6th, 5th place but in lap 16 he lost control for a short moment and felt back to 7th place.  Race 2 Pool3:Shaun took the lead in the 2nd race, BBO followed him fast in 2nd place, in lap 4 BBO made a mistake and larini gets the 2nd place. Again bad luck for Shaun in the chicane (due to family things he had to quit later in lap 12. So sorry) larini and BBO passed him and finished in that order. D34N0 did another good job out there he had a good battle with the [XP] Team drivers finally he passed them and took the 3rd place in this race.   Qualification Pool4:three_jump qualified for 2nd place only beaten by smidge with a time 0:00:02 faster, short before end of qualifying. Race 1 Pool4:   Race 2 Pool4:What a start! three_jump passed 8 drivers in the first lap and found himself on place 3 after lap 1. He was 2nd in lap 3 and in lap 6 there was a little misunderstanding with X-Team (I think he didn't make new friends that day), a crash followed for three_jump and smidge passed him. three_jump did the fastest race laps but couldn't catch smidge till the end of race. So again only the unlucky 2nd place for three_jump. Results: We got a 1st, a 2nd, a 4th, a 5th and a 6th place in the qualifications. In the races we got the unlucky 2nd place 4 times, a 3rd, a 4th and a 7th and two unlucky quitters. But hey, not too bad after all. Don't you think? The next Race will be on 13th of February 2005 on FernBay Black track. This time "only" one race with 25 laps in TBO. We'll see how it works in the big cars for our Team.
