T7R Internal Championship 1st event PDF Print E-mail
Written by Bismarck
Thursday, 27 January 2005
The 22nd Jan saw the first race of the new for 2005 Triple 7 Racing Internal Championship.

The selected track/car combo was Blackwood Rev and the infamous LX4. M4Driving provided us with the server – with several mods designed to prevent excessive departure from the track.

Despite much hard work from BBO, he was unable to take the start due to successive hardware failures. Lets hope this is resolved successfully in time for the next event.

Many thanks to Fordman for organising us at the event.

The next event will be using the GTi on the Club circuit at Fern Bay.

Qualifying

The event commenced with a single lap qualifying event – not good for the nerves, but good for Bismarck who convincingly took poles – gaining some valuable extra points in the process.

Race 1 – 9 Laps

The pack quickly split into three groups with Basem and Bismarck showing the way. A late charge from D34N0 elevated him to 5th after an incident near the start.

Race 2 – 10 Laps (Reverse Grid)

Having finished 1,2 & 3 in race 1, Basem, Bismarck and Three Jump had everything to prove from the back of the grid in race 2. And to be honest, they did this in some style!

Overall

Well, Basem and Bismarck really proved their speed and skill in the LX4, where as others (Lippy…) proved that RWD isn’t really their thing. (0) Comments
