ImageHello racers!

This time we present you the second interview. You might never seen him, but every time you race one of Triple7Racing you see his skills. He is the guy who is responsible for one of the best skins out there and you often only see the back of his skin…. So please give him a warm applause and say "Hello EMD"

Interview with [T7R] EMD

Hi ho EMD, thanks for taking the time to answer a few questions.
Thanks for having me here.

Q1: What's your real name and where are you from??
Well my real name is Kristian Jensen and I was born on the 24th of Febuary, so that'll make me almost 21. I live in a city Called Fredericia in Denmark.

Q2: What do you do when you're not in front of your PC? Do you have any other hobbies?

I'm very interested in motorcycles and scooters, so I spend a lot of time on my own scooter, doing stuff like engine tuning and styling.

That's a good lead over for my next question!

Q3: As some might know, you are the genius behind our team skins. Where do you get your ideas?

I get my ideas from real racing cars basically, I tend to only use one or two features of the car and the rest kinda comes a long the way. I never really have a distinct plan on how the car should look when I start.

Q4: What are you working in your real life?
I've recently started my apprentiship at a local Toyota garage as a mechanic.

Q5: Do you play any other pc-games (apart from LFS) and what was your first pc (Atari, or Amiga) game you ever played?

I play a little Counter strike: Source and GTR. The first ever pc game I played was GrandPrix by Microprose on my dads old IBM computer that he got the same day I was having a birthday party for my classmates, and I basically forgot all about them till my mom told me that some of the guests had gone home. I had been playing for 4 hours at that point.

Again a Grand Prix Junkie (Fordman, you, me, who comes next? Laughing )

Q6: Where did you found LFS and why are you called "EMD"?
I first found LFS in the early beta days but I never really got a hang of it and I pretty much forgot about it. Then in December 2004 I was browsing fileshack.com and saw that they had released the S1 demo. I thought I'd give it ago again and I was hooked, after a couple of weeks playing a finally bought a full license and well the story goes from there. The name EMD is something I've always used, I actually don't remember what it means so I can't even explain why I call my self EMD.

Some secrets get never enlighten....

hehe

Q7: What will be the first thing you do when S2 gets released?
I'll probably lock my self in my room with a supply of brownies and milk and I probably won't come out until every car is unlocked!

Q8: We know from the last interview with Fordman that you both where the founders of T7R. When and how did you meet him?
I meat Fordman after I saw the video of him made be JoeCool. I asked him if he would be interested in having a teammate, this was when he was taking a break from Boomerang Rapido, he told me that he'd just returned to BR so it wasn't really possible for him. I then started racing regularly on the BR servers, mostly because I want to get to know him better. After some months he then left BR and he then contacted me about some skins for the now closed British Racing Team. I ended up joining the team although I'm not from the UK. Fordman and I left the team because of some stuff I won't mention here. Fordman then started talking about him and me starting a team and the rest you already know.

Q9: If you had one wish for free, what would you wish?
Hmm that's a tuff one, I really wanna start my own business when I'm done with my apprentiship so I guess that would be my wish.

Q10: Please complete the following sentence: "Since I play Live for Speed"...
I've been given more speeding tickets and my tyres wear down quicker. Tongue out

Q11: What was your most memorable time in LFS
It would probably be starting this team together with Fordman, it's been a great experience so far and I personally think that it keeps on getting better and better.

And now please feel free to say what you ever wanted to say to your audience.
I would just like to thank the guys in the team for making the game fun for me, our whole no pressure / no stress concept suits me perfect. I also wanna thank the people from the former Boomerang Rapido team, those guys gave me a lot of experience in a very short time and I would actually say that they actually made me wanna start my own team after seeing how they got along with each other. That's pretty much it I think.

Thanks Kristian for taking time to answer my questions, I hope you enjoyed it.
Any time, I really enjoyed it.
