ImageTRIC II kicks off this weekend

After our 1st succesful, fair and fun filled internal championship we'll start our 2nd Triple 7 Racing Internal Championship (TRIC II) on the coming sunday (20th of november 2005). It's a closed competition only for T7R members.

This time three_jump is the race and event director.

Here are some short facts about the rules , the point-system and the upcoming events.


 
General rules:

- have fun together with your mates, keep this in mind while racing
- we are using CRC rules

Points:

Qualification:
Only for Pole Position 1 Point

Race 1 (Sprint Race)
Position=Points
P1=10 points
P2=08 points
P3=06 points
P4=05 points
P5=04 points
P6=03 points
P7=02 points
P8=01 points

Race2 (Main Race)
Position=Points
P1=20 points
P2=17 points
P3=15 points
P4=13 points
P5=12 points
P6=11 points
P7=10 points
P8=09 points
P9=08 points
P10=07 points
P11=06 points
P12=05 points
P13=04 points
P14=03 points
P15=02 points
P16=01 points

Qualification procedure:

We use the 1 lap shootout qualification

- every Driver has only one fast lap to get a good position for the sprint race.
- you leave the pits when the race admin calls your name, then it's your turn, you have one untimed lap to warm up your tires etc and then one timed lap. When the fast lap is done, you go into spectate mode

The Grid for the qualification is based on the result of the last Event in reversed order. (Last goes first etc.)

Races:

Sprint Race
- races will be around 10 mins, no mandantory pitstop, no lag lap
- when the sprint race is as long as the main race (only for Sprint Tracks) you'll get points after the main race points table instead of the normal sprint race points

Main Race
- lag lap first
- start is in reversed order of the sprint race.
- you have to make at least one pit stop


Hopefully we'll have as much fun, close and fair racing as last time where Interceptor took the title, Bismarck the second place overall and Three Jump the 3rd.

The first races of TRIC II are on the South City Classic Track with the UF1 with a 10 lap sprint and a 29 lap main race. If you have any further question or can't take part mail three_jump about it, thx.
