ImageHello racers!

This time I was given the chance to interview one of the most know drivers in the LFS World. He probably is the fastest rock in the world, and also pushing LFS in Denmark, as he owns www.liveforspeed.dk and www.lfs-forum.dk . So please give him the warm welcome he deserves, as the LFS World would be a lot less worth without him.

Interview with T7R| RichardDK

Hello Richard Torp, thx for joining this little Interview.

hehe..

Ok, here is the first (and easiest) question: What is your real name, when were you born and where are you living?
Richard Torp Jensen, I was born in Hadsten which is near Aarhus in april 1962, Jutland (Denmark) and where I'm still living.

Next task: Describe yourself and your appearance to your audience.
Honest, sometimes a very silent person, a person who always speaks what he thinks no matter what, caring about others. I'm 115 kg pure Danish bacon. I look like an old man with grey beard, not much hair on my head, but you can find it on my belly/breast instead. Wink
I am a big man but not as big as it sounds.

What are you doing when you're not in front of your PC, in other words: Do you have a real life?
A real life? Not much. I am a little bit handicapped because of rheumatism all over my body, but I have a very nice friend who owns a gas-station and a travel-hunting business and there I can work a little when my health is ok. I am doing all kind of stuff at his gas station; there are a lot of girls there so I manage. :)

What did you wanted to do when you were a little boy?
Hmm a racing driver! After that I wanted to be a truck driver. In fact I did both things, but didn't became a professional racing driver but only a Kart driver, stopped when I became 18 years with the Karting because of my kidneys.

So, do you have any new dreams?
Yeah dreams are with me every day. First of all I would love to be without my rheumatism so I can turn up my Force Feedback in Live for Speed. It would also let me driving a lot more. So I have only one dream…get my former life back....but i`ll never get that back so my realistic dream is about the day S3 arrives. Smile

Please complete the following sentence: "Since I play Live for Speed..."
I have made a lot of good "friends" all over Europe and in Denmark and I learned a lot more English since then but I could still improve it.
Live for Speed, connecting people Smile
Yeah Smile

Your favourite drink when you are racing.
It must be a Coca Cola Light, cold and fresh. In the "old" LFS days I drank Afri-Cola for a while. *LOL*

Speaking of Afri Cola and the old days, please tell us something about your LFS History.
I started way back in march 2003. Then I met Vykos and raced with him a lot. A month after our first "meeting" he asked me to join his new Afri-Cola Racing Team (ACR) and I did so. Then ACR merged with Ocrana (ocr) and I stayed there until august 2005. I had to move on and joined T7R and because of a lot of my friends from the past (like Fordman or BBO) are driving there I didn't really think about other teams to join.
I also hosted races for OLFSL since 2003 until august 2005. I have been a trusted driver in ESCC and I also made a Danish GTi Cup and I'm planning to make some more in the future.
So I have been very active in LFS and still am as I recently bought www.liveforspeed.dk and www.lfs-forum.dk to bring LFS to a bigger public in Denmark.

What is the special thing that keeps you playing Live for Speed and organizing leagues and even running the Danish forum?
Because LFS is a part of my life. And I think the devs of LFS need my help. Furthermore I like to do it as it's really great to see something growing. www.liveforspeed.dk is not only about me, it's also created by a Danish guy, Momentum Frags. Without him I could not do it. But I owe the devs something as they made my life better in a way and I'm thankful for that. Kisses and hugs *LOL*.

ImageYour favourite superhero, why?
My superhero was/is the Danish racing driver Kurt Thiim. I was his points-sponsor in 1984. Without me and some others he could not have raced in the German F3 season, and he won that series so it was very good but also very expensive because he earned a lot of points!.

Please tell us the three things, you would take with you to a lonely island and why.
My PC with LFS (without that no life), my pills and then one or two girls so we could get the population to grow.

Ok, all questions are answered.
The audience is yours, feel free to speak to your fans
:D
I would like people to stop their moaning about LFS in the forum. The game is done when it's done. Its has bugs but I'm sure they will be fixed!.
I would like to thank the guys I have met in LFS and made my life to change in a positive way. I hope I can race for many years ahead and I hope that I will be here when S3 is out.
Greetings to ALL at the LFS community and especially to my team mates.

Thx a lot Richard for doing this little Interview with me, I hope you enjoyed it.
You too and thx for doing it.
