With a bit of a delay here finally is the report for races 3 and 4. It's been kinda difficult races but read our well prepared excuses yourself. Nevertheless Sir Pingo did an another amazing race in South City with a near podium finish.

Race 3

Qual

Qualification turned out to be a really close thing and therefore even penalising the smallest mistake. But then again you still have at least one alien on the grid with it’s own special rules being 3/10 s faster than the rest.

With only a little practice both T7R drivers finished out of the top 10 but especially Sir. Pingo was confident to have a good race pace while Three Jump was struggling with his +45 kg success ballast for being the leader of the championship.

Race

The race started rather well for both drivers with each one gaining two positions within the first lap and were able to stay there for the next few laps while the race settled down a bit. By the end of lap 5 Pingo had closed up with a group that was being stuck behind Franky500.

Three Jump meanwhile was fighting more with himself and the ballast this day not being able to match his teammate’s speed and was more fighting to keep his position in front of ‘ER’ Lione. With the battle for the 5th place going on 3J was able to catch up again and even fight for position until he damaged his right front suspension in a battle with Cropsy giving him a hell of an under steering car and after a few more wall contacts finally the end of his race.
Sir. Pingo on the other hand continued to fight his way up to the front.

With the beginning lap 10 Pingo got into groove and started passing his opponents, beginning with Cropsy and sidi two laps later moving him up to 8th place. On lap 16 he split the ATC duo consisting of Franky500 (6th) and gAg (7th) and moved up to 7th position and after passing the moving roadblock one lap later he was 6th.
With the beginning of lap 25 he was on a comfortable 5th position after L. Araujo who was leading the race experienced some technical problems and timed out. From that point on the race settled down again with the first 2 places +20 seconds ahead, 3rd and 4th about 4 seconds and also slightly faster but also with a +7 seconds gap to Franky500 behind. In lap 43 Pingo moved up into 4th place after Foqs was having some trouble and lost his 3rd place to Jokelainen who was just around 1 second in front of Pingo himself. After doing his mandatory stop at the end of lap 44 Kris rejoined the field on 7th place and moved back up after everyone else had done their stop and finished 4th after 60 laps.

Race 4

Qual

Real life struck both drivers for this event, meaning that Sir. Pingo wasn’t able to race at all and due having an important exam 2 days after the race 3J didn’t have any practice or quite the mind for racing either. Still he managed to save himself the 3rd spot on the grid.

Race

No T7R driver finished the race. Once he realised that the Kyoto race would be take more than 2 hours Three Jump decided that the time should be better spent learning and so he quit the race on lap 14 while being in 4th place. You still need a “free mind” to enjoy the race and there is not much sense in going on if you are not focused.
