Round 3 of the Triple Double Cup (TDC)
was held on the 28th of September 2008.

The reverse track of Westhill Intenational was this time the place to race.
The 15 minutes nonstop qualifying was a bit short for this long track but some managed to drive a good lap right in time and the winner was called [Fluid] M.Biaggi with a 1:57.68 he took his first pole and was only 0:00.01 seconds in front of T7R| SparkyDave who qualified for the 2nd place. ATC gAg completed the top 3 drivers of the qualification.

After the trouble we had at the race start in the last round, it was great to see that every driver behaved this time and after only some small touches here and there all drivers managed to go through the difficult turn one of the 23 laps long race at Westhill Int. reverse.

The most unluckiest person at the race start was [Fluid] M.Biaggi as he stood on the pole and then produced a false start. He immediately got a drive-through which killed all the chances of a win, as he came out on the back of the field when he completed his DT penalty.

ATC gAg was now leading followed by T7R| SparkyDave but it doesn't took long and after an early pitstop at the front and some nice passings FLP/r Jouman worked his way up and took the first place to lead the race.
As ATC Dadge, T7R|Exodus, ATC gAg and T7R| BBO were fighting with each other for some laps, Jouman could expand his
advantage and was leading after 12 laps of the race with over 8 seconds in front of the haunters.

In lap 17 we had another unlucky guy as T7R|Exodus who was still on the 2nd place had a disconnection from the server and timed out.
In lap 19 after he completed his pit stop the next one behind FLP/r Jouman was T7R| SparkyDave but he was almost 13 seconds behind and so it was clear who will win another race in the TDC.
Jouman said after the race:
"I wasn't sure about my setup so getting 1st was more then I hoped for. Really great battles in this one, definitely the best TDC race for me so far."

Next to the Jouman show, we saw this time again, T7R| SparkyDave finished on the 2nd place and ATC Dadge completed the podium with his 3rd place. Congratulations the the top three drivers and a thank you to all the other participants who made this TDC race a nice experience for so many of us.

All in all it was an amazing race for a lot of drivers and we could see a lot of great battles and strong but always clean fights between various pilots throughout the whole field. And considering that the gap between the last podium place and P4 was only half a second after 45 minutes of racing it shows how close the power density of some of the drivers really is.
