2007-t7r

Hi Ho everyone,

The year is almost over, so it’s time for a little résumé.
The racing year 2007 started for our Team in January with our first appearance in the MoE 24 hours race.

Then Jan surprised the Team and the LFS world with his fantastic interview with Victor of the LFS developing Team in April.

On the first of June 2007 the renovation of the Team structures began with voting Team Manager for the first time.

We sponsored the LFS 4 Free league where the winner got a free S2 license and later that year we joined forces with the leading Live For Speed server hoster, 500 Servers .

They provided us with a 47 slot game server and a Teamspeak server for our communication. And we are really happy with their great service. Read the full Story

In September we announced the participation in the MoE 2007/2008 league where the Team is still going strong and is actually on the 3rd place in the GT2 class.

In the same month, some of the long time team members left us. But a little later we could also get some new and active drivers for the Team like our Canadian driver Jeff (aka BBT or Ball Bearing Turbo), or our 2 new Danish drivers Richard and Esben.

Some of our Members and Ex-Members held various racing events and leagues over the last year. T7R 32 Car Bonanza, Road Sport Summer Cup, LFS 4 Free just to name a few. Some of our drivers took place in various LFS events and leagues:
i.e. P1lot was 2nd in the second RSCC or SparkyDave who is still the Top Racer in the hall of fame of the CTRA-X.

And we still owe you the last result of the Masters of Endurance race (which couldn’t be done as detailed as usual due to time problems). The 6 hours was held in Westhill. The XRR cars where over 1 second faster per lap and so our goal was to be the best FXR but after usual disconnections we had to fight hard to be the 2nd best and ended on the 5th place but could still hold our overall 3rd place in this league.

In December 2007 we had our last Team meeting of the year and the Team voted for new Manager. Three_Jump, BBO and Richard dk will from now on lead the Team into 2008.

It was a really successful year for the T7R Team, not because we won so much like in the last years, no. It’s more because we managed to change a lot internally and we are now able to better deal with all the work that has to be done in a big Team and with changing some driver seats we will also be able to participate in more leagues in the coming year/s.

We wish to thank everyone who found the way to our website and into our Forum and we thank all the people who have invited us to so many great events and leagues (unfortunately we couldn’t take part in many this year, during the process of Team renewal).

Special thanks goes to our Sponsors and Partners:
BneXt IT Solutions, 500 Servers and D Pope Ltd Electrical Contractors

Last but not least
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a good start into the New Year 2008.

The T7R Managers,
on behalf of the Triple 7 Racing Team
