Ladies and Gentlemen,
today we opened up the doors of the Triple Double Cup (TDC).
The best place for you if you are interested in joining T7R.
You can meet us there, show your skills and drive with us.
We've planned to offer a few drivers a seat in our Team after the TDC.
So sign in for the six racing events in September and October 2008 and take a chance to join one of the long-established LFS Teams.
It was never that easy to get a trial membership in Triple 7 Racing!
You can register and sign in and find out much more information in our Triple Double Cup (TDC) forum
If you are already in a Team or not interested in joining us, no problem.
You can also sign in and have some good fun together with our team members and other drivers in a well organised little Cup.
We hope to see you on the tracks,
Team
Triple 7 Racing

New Full Member:
Some of you might have noticed that there is a new driver on the tracks, wearing the T7R dress. We are proud to announce that, after a short trial period which he mastered without any doubts, Sir Pingo (Kristian) has now become officially a full member of Triple 7 Racing.
He had some really bad luck with his former LFS Teams.
First he joined the danish DBA Team but it was closed. He changed to Afri-cola but they were not active enough for him. Then he joined Adaptive Racing just to see that it was also closed down. So you can understand that he was really happy to get the chance to become a member of such a long established Team like T7R.
Did I mentioned that we at Triple 7 Racing celebrated the 4th birthday almost one month ago.

There was not much time in the last days for a quick review due to the new LFS test patches, the iRacing testing and other real life stuff that's going on here.
But better late then never. Here is a little report of the Gentlemen's Cup race number 7, that was held on sunday the 22nd of June.
The track was the South City chicane Route and with 28 drivers the grid was almost filled completly.

The Aston
Club track was used for the 6th round of the Gentlemen’s Cup.
33 laps in
the XFG on that short and tight track with so many drivers can be dangerous,
especially with the chicane at T2. Every mistake can be the end there.
Jan
(Three_Jump now on P1), who changed position after the last round in the
overall standings with Bernd (BBO), was hungry for another win.
Let’s see
how it went for our guys from Triple 7 Racing on this Sunday evening.

Hello Racers!
As some of you might have noticed, there is a new sim comming on the market. And thats brings us to the very old question, asked since the first game was ever created and offered in shops: "Is it worth it?" Unfortunatly you won't find the answer here, but a very fine report from Gavin (P1LOT), who had the chance to be part of the beta test of iRacing.
Better be prepared for a pretty long review.

Here is a
little report about the fifth round of the Gentlemen’s Cup that was held last
sunday.
20 laps in
the XFG car at Kyoto National.
Two of our
drivers (BBO on P1 and Three_Jump on P2) lead the Cup after the past 4 rounds
and the rest of the T7R drivers followed on place 5, 6 and 13.
Could they
repeat their performance and hold their positions or improve?
Let’s
see how it went for Triple 7 Racing.
It looks
like this track, which contains a big oval section, is an easy one but the
infield with various left and right hander is really tricky. And the smallest
mistake can cost you there easily half a second of your fastest lap time.

Good News, sad news and Big success |

The last 3
months brought some really good and some sad news for our Team.
As already
posted in the Team News section of our
Forum, some of our long time members left the team because their real life
doesn’t allow them to drive anymore or they found other interests etc.
First the sad news:
Next to Tristan
(Tristancliffe), Jeff (Ball Bearing Turbo), Sören (Bismarck), Pieter (Noemfie)
and Niki (Nikimere) who left the Team, we also had to say good bye to Basem.
Only Sören
will still be around from time to time and work on some parts of our website in
the background. So we didn’t lost him completely ;-)
Now the really good news
We also
achieved some of the biggest successes in our history together as a Team.
In the 2007
/ 2008 Masters of Endurance league we almost lost all our chances to finish on
the podium when we only finished on a 5th place in the 24 hours of Aston. As
the final points of this race were doubled it was a little catastrophe for us.
But we
tried hard to get our overall 3rd place back...
