G4 now Three    

Strange thing happened today. I was racing on a server earlier and it totally lagged. Every driver reported the pink bars on the left going right to the top of the screen. Whilst the server was in this state, no one could end the game, pit, restart a race or end the current race. We all sat there for a good ten minutes hoping that whoever had lagged the server would leave and it would free it up. I finally gave up and returned to windows to kill the process - there was no other way out.

The worrying thing is that three hours later, I came back for a race and it said my username was still online - the server had obviously not been reset. I reported it to Victor and he said he was aware of the problem which would hopefully be fixed in the next patch - assuming G7. There was nothing he could do about my user being locked though - have to wait for the server to be reset.

I've not tried since other than playing on the demo servers. Hopefully it will be okay tomorrow! *fingers crossed*
