To shorten things up (rant):
Scawen: "Coding a new tire model is hard and needs more time. But here are some fancy pictures."
Eric: "I'm working on new stuff, but I don't wanna show it. I'm also not updating the current cars, live with it."
Victor: "Got fed of waiting and started learning to code c## myself."

On a serious note:
Nice to see that they are still working on something, and no surprise that creating your own tire model (which seems to be extremly detailled beyond most of the stuff I know that is used in the industry) takes quite a lot of time and needs some tweaking. I was hoping though that after +2 years there would be a bit more progress, even if it was just for the so much needed content update or even a few more words about it than just "I'm working on it".

I only say "Great" when it's there Wink

but some interesting and long missing things are in this patch:

FIX : Pit stop did not end if car was knocked out of the pit lane

New "drive anywhere" open configs

FIX : Improved collisions with unmovable objects (red barriers)

free view in SHIFT+U mode

that all sounds promising to me
