Ok, as I'm also getting a bit bored with LFS I bought my first pc game since 2003 or so for a change...

Anyone else of you playing "Race On"?

looks interesting, for a Simbin developed game I wonder if its just an upgraded version of race07 or a new engine, I see that its bundled with race07 and STCC.

How are you liking it Jan?

I would have downloaded the demo to try but it requires steam to be installed, and theres no way I'm doing that.
Do you have to have steam installed to play the full version? if so I doubt Ill be playing it

"Race on" is an add-on for Race 07 Dave, so no new gfx engine.
In the full version of "Race on", "Race 07" is included.

Iirc you can only play offline without steam (I hate steam stuff so no game for me).

I'm waiting for F1 2010 (finally an F1 PC game again) at the moment.

It's not as real as I initially had hoped for, but it's fun and something nice to fool around with. As pointed out Steam is the biggest minus, but only needed if you want to use the multiplayer.
