Read all about it and download it here:

EDIT NEW Z20:
http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=62382

(DOES NOT CONTAIN NEW PHYSICS / VW SCIROCCO / ROCKINGHAM)

but:
Two button look (left + right) is now double the one button look and
this allows up to 180 degrees look (like old versions of LFS)
.

Rear look (instant 180 degree view from centre of car) is now the
same on all cars (no longer shows a virtual mirror) but is disallowed
if the host activates forced cockpit view.

Headlights and tail lights can now be switched on by pressing '3'

Cockpit view Z-buffering has improved so you should not usually see
missing parts of your seat or the car body when looking around.

and so on...

Well, no big things for us normal users, but some niche gimmicks Smiley

I want some real cheese with a big cherry on top!

I really missed the 180 degrees look
so I like small things like this (instead of whatever new language support  Wink )

About the "lights on" mode,
maybe it's time for us to do another night racing moive  lol (good old times)

Yeah the new little gimmicks are a nice touch and I would say much more appreciated than language packs.

I don't race in the front wheel view but had a look at the new icons shown for handbrake, pit limiter, lights and indicators....nice touch! In cockpit they are just lights like the shift light, nothing as fancy  Wink

I hadn't tried any of these Z patches up to now, and they don't bring much new at the moment but I was impressed by the mulltiple monitor mode. I have two monitors so I extended my view to one side (whichever was mostly the inside for a track), unfortunately the frame rate suffers too much with my PC.

Beside this I was messing around with single player yerterday, and it just hit me again how beautiful LFS can be. I was racing against the computer; UF1 at Blackwood RallyX with cloudy sunset. Then I was amazed at the detail at South City when watching some replays from the past week. Maybe I had forgotten about what a great piece of software this is because I am so familiar with it.  notworthy

I got a chance to try some of the patches, although only for small periods of time and only with the road cars(mainly the XFG)
I didnt notice any massive changes appart from the really fast server list and the best thing for me....
the reintroduction of the double button lookback feature, about time!   mrgreen

I also didn't realise how much I noticed the shift light until it was gone Smiley
