Not really funny for me but maybe you can have a good laugh.
Here's the story:
Today is one of the worst days ever in my career as a hobby craftsman.
I had some time an bought an outside aluminium balkony door with flyscreen (if thats the right word for it).
I found a cheaper one (Yihaa) as it was the old model (bit more complicated to assemble - no problem for me I thought).
After I measured all the sizes I started to cut (by hand with a tiny little metal saw) every single frame section and after 2 and a half hours I was ready.
Then I saw I drilled into my wooden floor (6!! times) with the drilling machine when I assembled the kick plate at the door.
Fu§!%%&%$Grr4%&Dam*#!!
Ok OK shit happens.
After I calmed down I thought now it's time to drill some more holes for the door hinges.
Don't worry be happy BBO just be happy about the new door.
Then I checked again where to place the door and then.
NOOOOOOOOoooooo. Looks like I was to blind to read the yardstick (or better centimeterstick)
As I managed to cut the whole door 10 cm to small in width.
I checked the size again and Oh no no no not 68cm - it has to be 78cm.
I must have been blind.
Fu§!%%&%$Grr3§&Dam*#!!
Now I destroyed the door in less then 5 minutes and tomorrow I will buy the next one.
Wish me luck and sharper eyes - lol
