After looking on Race2Play, I noticed they had a RACE league running, I had already missed the first event, so I decided to take the plunge and enter the 2nd round at Brands.
Now, it's no secret that I am not a huge RACE fan, so I decided to put that to one side and REALLY try to get into it, heck I paid for the bugger!!!!.
After a good few days messing with the settings, graphical, control, feedback, and audio, I finally managed to get something workable, so I decided to try and get a decent setup built, and get some good laps in on Brands, after some practice I was hitting low 1:36's and high 1:35's, not knowing if this was good or not I went into the league race last night.
Turns out it was pretty good, because I qualified 3rd (only 10 drivers though, which was a shame), all in all it was a bloody enjoyable pair of race's and I think that now I have RACE setup in a way to actually looks, sounds and feels half decent, it will be a nice distraction from LFS from time to time.
