You should get that keyboard checked by greenpeace before cleaning it... maybe there is some rare creature already living in Cheesy

Just another big reason why you shouldn't eat where your pc is...

OMG Kamo that is enough food to feed the mouse for a week in that picture  laughing7
I cannot imaging what things are waiting for me under my KB Wink

On the topic of gaming PCs, mine died this morning Sad Sad

I have yet to determine the cause but I did catch the wife playing free bingo on it yesterday Wink
Inital analysis points to OS corruption on the SSD.

So until i get a chance to get it sorted I doubt I will be able to play any LFS Sad

wish me luck

Ill report back soon Smiley

My gaming PC is not especially great. My motherboard died last year so I took the opportunity to upgrade to AMD 64 X2 Dual (6000+) and 2GB, but still using Ati X800 Pro which is probably the bottleneck now.

Anyway I've had some recent additions; a Logitech G15 keyboard with display, I don't use the display for anything to do with LFS as I have a home-made gear indicator already.
Just completed a switch box so that I don't have to reach over to switch on my wheel/fan/joystick power supplies. It gives my desk a bit more cockpit feel compared to a switched extension lead.   mrgreen

I'll be upgrading to:

HDD: OCZ 120GB SSD

If you use that as the gaming HDD make sure you get one SSD with native trim funktion to use with Win7.
Else you'll run into problems after a while with SSDs.
For Win as Boot disk great but I wouldn't recommend an SDD as a gaming HDD.
Just my 2 eurocents  Wink

I was fed up of XP taking forever to boot up.

I've changed my OS to Windows 7, and installed it on a new hybrid hard-drive (4GB flash memory on 500GB drive).
It automatically copies the most accessed files into the flash portion for quick retrieval. Cheaper than solid state drives.

Boot up now takes about a minute until it's ready and responding to my commands.  icon_thumleft

I changed some time ago the motherboard to
Gigabyte 880GA-UD3H
and the CPU to
Athlion X2 260 2x3200Mhz
and the Ram to
Corsair 4GB DDR3-1333
Gfx card still the ATI 5850 on 3x21' screens

and I just tested it: My system needs exactly 80 seconds till I can open something on the desktop and really work there.
Got a dual boot system on a 500GB normal SATA HDD - No Ramdrive or anything special.Oh and it's Win7 64bit. I use the 32bit version just for gaming.
