be aware that software firewalls aren't the best stuff, its better to use a router with a firewall.

nevertheless:

- zonealarm: http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,7228-order,1-page,1-c,alldownloads/description.html
- sygate: http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=sygate
- outpost: http://www.agnitum.com/products/outpostfree/index.php

just have a look in the mystery machine called google Smiley

iamwithstupid I used a software version for years, but had to swap over to a router in the end, to much started getting through in the end with a software firewall, just use a router, Linksys are one of the best around and user friendly as well..

I use both Smiley
Hardware router to stop nasties getting in, and a software one so that I can check what wants to send data out
