Didn't know where to put this as we don't have a O.T section..

Good start for Germany in the WC, couple of cracking goals, but whats with the German fans, are they really that dull and quite, opening match for the hosts, and the excitment and noise from those fans was oustanding..NOT.. smiley

Maybe they thought there is no need for it or it tongue

Tbh in german TV you could here our national coach shouting louder then the whole stadium. I also didn't really had the stadium sound ambience but I think it was just blurred by the TV accountably.  Smiley

Anyway 4:2 was ok (my bet was 4:1).
We've seen some really nice goals and it was a interesting game (and we won).
So it was more then expected  Cheesy

Hey fellas,
I watched most of that game (Costa Rica Vs. Germany)... Was great, had some nice action!  As BBO was saying though, I was shocked, I thought you Germans we're a bit louder than that, unless I was horribly misinformed?  Cheesy
Anywho, cant wait for Argentina to come in and kick butt!

Best of luck to all in the World Cup, but there can only be one  cool

btw
The worst thing i've ever seen was the opening ceremony.
Bavarian guys in Lederhosen and Dirndl everywhere.

1.5 Billion people watching it and think this is germany   Sad
but it's not
it's just a traditional costume worn in bavaria (and this is just 1 county of germany)

It's like you let dance Amish people everywhere in a US stadium and then the people think this is Amerika.  smiley

England - Paraguay  1:0 (own goal by Paraguay)

That was also a not very convincing win against the this "Top Team of the World"  Wink  called Paraguay.

Was is nerviness or what was it?
I thought the english Team would be stronger but it looks like they have as much problems in the offense as we have in the defense Cheesy

Don't disagree there Bernd, 1st half wasn't bad, 2nd half was awful, but to me thats what you get when you have a bald, sacked Swede as a manager, who doesn't have any idea of the British game, or a tactical know how, also lets not forget that greasy haired mexican for a ref, who wants the teams to die of thirst..

We are alot better than that for sure, where as Germany, played to their max.. tongue
