Another thread providing you with reason for doing it yourself if you wan't it done properly...

About 2 years ago my good old audi went into a garage for some new suspension arms. And this is what both (!) looked like. (pic1)

While being at it one thing came to another and this is what was changed...
2 new dampers apparently replacing the original ones from 1994 after +352000 km
2 new lower suspension arms
1 new coupling bar
2 new collars
+ some more new screws...

And yes, I'm hoping to get the car back to the streets tomorrow Tongue

My ´00 Polo 1,9TDI Variant needed the same repair + a new windscreen to pass the MOT, so i sold it and bought a 05 Seat Altea 2,0TDI instead. I hate fixing cars.....

Is your Audi ready to roll yet???

it is since yesterday Smiley

I don't mind fixing it myself as long as I know whats going wrong, searching for bugs makes me mad. And it's a lot cheaper doing it yourself.
