Not very good for me this week, late for qual but invalidated it with name change lol.

bad race too with me causing small shunt in T1 lap1 and after that pitted and proceeded to watch the tyres changing rofl.
overheated clutch after pit hehe.

didn't see many other cars all race. bit boring and lonely lapping really.

wd to Jourman wow 22 secs clear of the pack Smiley

Got caught up in an accident early on that I couldn't avoid and the damage slowly got worse as the race went out so I got slower and slower.

Was still good racing though  mrgreen

Thanks To Exodus for the setup an hour before the race. A really Nice Set. icon_thumleft

Quali : Not bad considering had total 30 minutes practice with the set and got a decent time for me. Got caught in some traffic during quali but that racing..

Race : - A better race than the last some good clean racing, I can't tell who i was racing with in the first half of the race but nice racing.. Made a pit stop on lap 20 not expecting to be in the top 5 at that point. Came back out in 8th and tried holding it but had BBO behind me and he got passed. Had an good spread of lap times and made an absolute flier on the last lap posting a PB.  Congrats to Podium.

Thanks to all for turning up and for the great racing. icon_thumleft

congrats to Jouman, you were the faster driver today notworthy

I had an ok Quali i could've been faster but my chair fell apart again :x

Race was very good, have had a exiting battle with Biaggi first 3-4 laps iirc, and decided to pit, but; forgot to take ''Change tyres : Always'' off... GRRR so i was sitting there in the pit for well over 10 secs having a conversation with myself with many swearwords and spells.
But all in all, very fun race.

See you all in two weeks!

Thanks for your gongrats guys.

What to say about my race. Had more practice then to the other combo, as i've allways had bad luck in south city races. The wall's tend to get just too close during the race Smiley. I like grass much more. Actually in the race lost 2 seconds on one lap hitting the wall in T2, i guess i lost my concentration slightly at that point. Before the quali tweaked my setup little bit more and got 0.2s off my pb with slight changes to the gearing. Then did the same time in qualifying, got a reasently clear track in there. Then in the race was watching my mirrors for the first 10 laps as dennis was getting close. We had a short race before the actual race and he was quick there. So kept my eye on you in the race. Sad to hear about the pitstop, well i think in the future won't make that mistake again  Wink. Then basically hotlapping till the end.

Rb4's next those should be good fun, see you in two weeks...

An hour before the race I was shocked that the race was that night, I had mistaken the schedule as every 2 weeks - my fault. Unfortunately I had not turned a wheel in LFS since my early disconnection in the previous round, joined the server after my dinner just in time for qualification. In at the deep end, then.

Qualification went well and got promoted to start 10th after Dave had changed his name.
I was fortunate to make a couple of places after T1 when BBO spun. Then followed Exodus and Pingo for many laps, I kept in touch only because they were fighting between themselves and it gave me something to focus on. By the time Pingo jumped into the pits I had found more speed and was creeping up on Exodus, but it was only a tenth here or there. An opportunity came when I had a better corner exit as we started lap 14, I watched for Exodus to brake first into the left hairpin but I left it too late and understeered into an embarrasing failure. He escaped to a couple of seconds ahead.

Exodus must have had his own incidents as I caught him again and was right on his bumper as he dived into the pits. I did a few more consistent laps before it was time for me to see the pit entry for the very first time. It went smoothly and I came out in front of Exodus, and just behind Pingo. Pingo was fighting with another and I was hoping that would slow them both down, but they were too fast for me to keep up and I brought it home 6th.
Not a bad result, I will practice next time.

Qualifying went well i thought. Got a relatively high position which was good for me.

The race start was interesting. I got a load of wheel spin in first gear. BBO came right up my inside for an easy pass into T1. I stuck right behind him and got a little better drive out the hairpin and then some slip stream from Pingo to get the edge on the downhill straight. Gave me a good enough run into the last corner to pop back into the lead.  At T2(i see the fast left hander as T1  icon_tongue ) on the next lap, from my view, BBO touched the inside wall running himself a little wide into the barrier and having a spin which gave me a good gap behind. Caught up with Pingo as he was battling with Ant. Made a nice pass taking them both between corners 3 and 4.  Not to long Pingo was back on me and was struggling with the pressure, He made a good pass on me in the chicane after sector 1.

Then i basically stuck there with Gavin closing in. Like he said he got the jump on me. I made a small error in the pits but Gavin drove an in and out lap faster than me so easily jumped me in the pits! Was close though and gave me a good chuckle. Rest of the race was quiet.

I really enjoyed the event. Jouman showed us all how it should of been done!  laughing7

See you all at the next round!

Quali:
A bit like the last one.
I was to distracted from racing by keeping an Admin-eye on the others.
Had to park my car to tell someone again that shift+p is not allowed
even I had clearly told everyone right in front of the start that it isn't allowed.

Then my clutch got a bit red when I drove on and I couldn't find the speed that day.
In the end I wasted to much time and couldn't do a pitstop for a 2nd run.

So again only a 9th place. If I do again a 9th next round then I think I have to rename myself to T9R| BBO Wink

Race:
He a real good start and passed Exodus at T1
was passed by him after the hairpin in lap 1
Slipstreamed him on the S/F straight in lap 2 and then was afraid to touch him
when driving into T1 again.
I touched then the left wall instead of him (lol) and lost my line a bit
then I touched his back, he touched the wall a bit, both touched again,
I spun to the left touched ATC gAg, got a little nugde from behind
then touched ATC gAg again.
Then all I could do is wait till ATC gAg drove on and he did instantly
but we lost like 8 or 9 positions there. Man, I'm really sorry about that.

Then I tried to pit behind ATC gAg but saw that two or three others also pitted
(to much people in the pits for my liking Wink )
So I moved back to the racing line and pitted 1 lap later to then come out again and finding myself sandwiched between the [PM] guys Smiley

Then I survied the crash at the last turn Ant and Kööts had in lap 7.
After I passed [PM] HASSE I was even more sandwiched 2 [PM] guys in front and 2 [PM] guys behind me.

Then I passed [PM] Ant and [PM] Luke but he touched my back a bit in the moment I turned in into T2 and [PM] HASSE passed us both again. For the next 2 laps we had some nice passing going on between each other.

Lap 13 middle of the race
After I had a clear track I noticed that I can close the (3 and half seconds) gap to Mikael Larsen in front
and I did for the next 5 laps. Then he was fighting with CR|Danowat for position and made a little mistake at T1 so we both passed him there.

Then I was stuck behind CR|Danowat, passed him was passed again, passed him, was passed again.
Then I think it's wasn't the nicest move I've ever made I passed him with touching in Lap 21 T2
He also lost 2 more positions there. I was so sure I got this corner but after watching the replay:
I'm really sorry Dan I think I'll give myself also a warning for that but luckily you got both places back in the last lap after Mikael and I think GreyBull [CHA] touched.

The last few laps I hunted T7R|D34N0 and in lap 24 I made a nice pass on the outside in that long bend (which I don't call T1  laughing7) after S/F. He touched me a bit but all went well.

Started from 8th, 1 crash, finished on 8th and some nice fights during the 26 laps.
I had again some good fun and

Jouman was da man  icon_thumleft.

Sorry for that. I had come off the accelerator a touch and still slid sideways. I was trying not to loose too much speed in an attempt to not loose another place Wink
