Hi Ho and
Welcome to the Triple Double Cup (TDC).

If you got questions about the TDC, the rules or have any problems:
That's the right place.

Here you can talk about the upcomming Round 1 race
(as2) Aston Club  in the XFG.

You also find a base setup for the track at the end of this post.
Some did a 1.21.high with this setup.
The Hotlap World Record is atm:  1:21.79

To make it easier with the timezones etc.
There is now a new live countdown timer in the
TDC - Race calendar and Time schedule thread

Or click here Countdown till the next event starts

And make sure the time on your PC is correct  Wink

Hi just to confirm
BBO do all racers have to be at the server at around 7.30pm GMT ?
Forget that GMT time
The UK has (BST) British Summer Time at the moment which is =GMT+1.

The qualy starts 7.40pm BST for the UK people.

Please take a look at the Countdown Timer.
Then your time will be correct.

In general it's not a bad idea to be on the server
5 or 10 minutes before the qualification starts.

Please note, the last race of the cup is on the 26th October, thats the day that BST ends and GMT begins(I'm not sure about other countrys daylight savings), but don't worry as I am sure all races will begin at the same time on each of the sunday evenings. If the last race ends up starting 1 relative hour earlyer or later the admins will make that very clear here in the TDC forum.

I for one get very confused when leagues span over the daylight savings changes, and remember one ESL season getting caught out when all competitors, except me, lol started an hour earlyer than stated, because the clocks went back the morning of the race.

Bernd please correct me if I am wrong lol.

SD.

You are right Dave on the 26th October the summertime ends,
(everywhere in europe)
that means the night before the last event (Round 6) starts
the clocks will move back by an hour.

We all "win" 1 hour in that night
but the starttime of the event will stay the same.

I already noted that in my private scheduling here
but thx for the hint (and lol about your ESL story Wink).

Anyway that's far away from today and
I will write again  something to make it clear
in front of the last seasons race.

twas a good session last night guys. well, except the hotlapper but that's a different story. if last night was anything to go by, this is going to be a close league. sorry if you felt my setup was understeer-y but that's how i set the xfg up. it only understeered (imo) when you apexed too fast Smiley. i might be on for a bit more practice tonight.

tagree  Smiley
Was good fun and some nice battles

well, except the hotlapper but that's a different story...
He is not a bad guy, I had some nice racing with him a long time ago,
maybe he has done just to much hotlapping in the meantime
and he forgot about some basics of racing  Wink

aye, i'm not questioning him as a person, just his abillity to race clean/fair. the funny thing was he had the cheek to call me a noob because he tried to put me into the grass and failed. i suppose it's a case of those who can race, race. and those who can't, hotlap.

The truth must be somewhere in the middle of that.

@ bbo, is there any plates for this cup? because im having a skinman to make my skins and he wants to know so he can put them on?

No.
Unfortunatly most Teams do not like to update their skins everytime they enter a Cup or league so we decided to not make a special plate for the TDC.

Hi
I would have send you a PM about it but you are right,
You (and all the others too) should enter the server a few minutes before the qualy starts.
I'm sure there will be a place for you  (was always like this  Wink )

Cya on sunday
