Looks like we'll get soon (?) a new car as Scawen wrote this in the LFS Forum: ...
I confirm we are making a Scirocco that will be used at the Games Convention.

It's a 200 bhp front wheel drive road car. We are very pleased to have the permission to include a production road car in LFS that we think looks nice and handles well.

Further testing and refinement will be done at a later date before it is included in the public version of Live for Speed, but we don't know yet when that will be. Indeed, it is similar to the introduction of the FBM to LFS, a new car but still not incredibly substantial. I Still look forward to driving and watching the replays...i think the car is rather pretty  |

Cool. I like the old Scirocco, but the new one looks nice too. Driving it in LFS would be great. But I wouldn't mind getting some new tracks aswell  |

Hopefully it will get bundled in.. I currently finding it hard to get back into LFS as I am studying ASP.Net 2.0 & the .Net framework for my MCTS qualification in an attempt to get a new job.. I shall try to make an effort to get back on track soon..

First official picture from the LFS.net website  www.lfs.net/page_images/pics/vw_sci2.jpg but it looks like we'll have to wait for "a long time" (whatever "a long" means here) as Mr. Scawen himself said: As said, the release is undecided - that means I cannot say (even roughly) when it will be - but I can say you might as well forget about driving it until a long time from now.

Must mean he is working on something for this car that he is not satisfied with, maybe ABS, updated turbo, DSG gearbox or something...let the guessing game begin |

I think so, especially after he answered today on the question: "How much more code is there for the scirocco than the xfg?" I don't know because I have not finished coding for it yet.  |
