Anyone tried it yet? I heard the vehicle dynamics are actually quite good and not very ISI like as far as lateral slip curves etc. Rumour has that there is even body roll! laughing7

Will give it a go tonight, I've kind of been sucked into WoW lately... uhoh. icon_tongue

I have given it a quick go, I really like the sounds! Also, the looks of the cars are insane, looks so damn real (thats what you get when BMW sponsors a game lol)

By far the interior is the best I have seen for almost any game! I recommend you guys give it a shot, its not so bad!

well, finally I gave it a go and... well deleted it again. It felt more like floating around the track, the ff felt stupid etc...
but yes it looked pretty well.

I think it's pretty awful.

I really really don't understand how people like you, who obviously know a decent sim when you play one, and obviously know how to drive and what a real car feels like can like this mish-mash of crap.

Yes, the 3D models are nice, and yes the interiors are nice. But the sounds a dead and don't sound very much like an M3 at 8000rpm, the handling is totally unreal, the FFB remains a joke, the graphics aren't that great, the AI is worse than GTR1s.... And what are those tacky cones on the chicane? And why does the gravel trap behave like superglue?

Waste of time. I shall have nothing more to do with it.

Tried it.

I concur, it is poop.

It handles better than GTR2, but that's not saying much.

On the other hand; has anyone tried the new mod for GTR2? I really need to get the time to try it, the video looked promising - but of course you can't tell without driving it.
