If it works and you really want it and you have the money for it -  then YES
If you just expect you'll be faster with it
or it's just because it sounds cool to have something Frex modded - then NO

Its Ray Mooney's old one, so it does work.  I don't expect to be faster, its just I could have this one, then Morgan can have my Momo on his PC.  laughing7

I would just be a lttile concerned about the amount of wear that 120,000 miles would have put on it, I have put nowhere near that much on mine, and you have to tighten things up every now and then, and the shifters needed some adjustment after a few thousand miles.

I have a FREX and Sparco wheel, those 2 inc shipping cost me over €200
£45 is a bargain!!
I've done about 20k miles on mine and the wheel is worn to bits... depends on how you grip the wheel i suppose.
Either way £45 is still dirt cheap, i say go for it!

IIRC Ballbag bought sidi's from him.... And sidi had that back in the ESL UK days there'd have to be more than 20k miles on it....

Talk of the devil. I was only asking Dan about his frex wheel adaptor this morning.

If i had the option to buy one for £45 i would snap it right up, i'd pay that just for the adaptor lol.
Even if there is wear you can always replace some parts, whats most likley to be worn out after that many miles? buttons, maybe the steering pot/encoder, whatever is in there. Both those things are very cheap and easy to replace.
Just open it up when you get it and give the gears a good greasing and it should be fine.
