Hello Racers!

What do you need to get a great, close and really nice race? Thirty cars, divided into 2 classes, 6 hours of time and one of the narrowest tracks you can find on the world, South City Long. This weekend the 2nd race of the Masters of Endurance series took place and again Bernd has taken the time to come up with another fantastic and long report about how T7R mastered this event.

I hope you'll enjoy it.

. . .

Great report again Bernd, nice to read and the pics tell the story also Smiley WD T7R

Another great read!  I love reading these reports.  Although just reading this one was enough excitment for me, if I had been involved I'd probably have had a nervous breakdown at an event like that by the sounds of it icon_silent

You know, reading the report and seeing the penalites on LFSF etc really makes me proud to be in T7R, but also makes me shake my head at the caliber of competition, even in an event like this.  I know it's a great series and everyone wants to do well, but there's no bloody reason that our car should've been beat to shit about half a dozen times by drivers that are supposed to be capable of doing events like this.  It's not acceptable that GT1 cars raped us at the hairpin.  If you're a MoE GT1 class driver, you would know that 1 second won't generally matter in the end and you make sure that you don't take yourself or others out.  This is why LFS really needs more sophisticated damage modelling.

So well done though guys, nothing but great driving for T7R with lots of bad things happening to us - being on the podium awesome, if we could ever have a clean race with no disconnects/smashups/pumpkins on the road etc we might just run 1st.

well, in 95% of all GT1 cars passing you nothing happens / is done very fair and respectful. But thats not mentioned cause you expect it to be that way. So you mostly notice only the negative things...

Absolutely wonderful reporting there Bernd!  icon_thumleft

Its a surprise and a miracle that there wasnt more incidents on such a narrow and tricky track! The team performed to perfection, and im sure a first place finish is bound to happen, with all that skill and speed on the team!

Cant wait for the next event, lets rock their world  mrgreen
