Another well deserved win for a newcomer in Assetto Corsa. Yann Laprevotte took the first place in this weeks Monday Night Racing event held by Triple7Racing. While Rob Taplin and Kris Vickers reached the 2nd and 3rd place after a really great battle for almost half of the race. Take a look at the Users Wall of Fame to see the Ferrari 458 GT2 that took the win in the Nürburgring-Sprint race on the 30.11.2015.
Congratulations to the podium and to everyone who took part.
RSR, better known for their timing website and APP, ventured on to a mod, which will capture the community. Not only is this mod based on a real racing car that any racing fan can relate to, it is also based on very realistic information.
For this, they got a former Monoposto Multiple Champion, F3 UK Cup consistent race winner and pole setter, and our former Triple7Racing Teammate, and good friend of mine Tristan Cliffe on board. He raced with Omicron Motorsport in the F3 UK Cup and took numerous poles and race wins, His honours speak for themselves, so you can see why RSR approached Tristan.
The next Assetto Corsa Monday Night Racing event of T7R is on it’s way. This time we drive the Ferrari 458 GT2 on the Nürburgring Sprint track in Germany on the 30th of November 2015.
Interested? All you have to do is register for our Website/Forums and sign up in the events forum for this race.
All MNR events of Triple7Racing will be on Mondays and include 15 minutes of qualification starting at 7:45pm, followed by a 30 minutes race starting at 8:00pm (UK time).
You don’t need to be fast, you just need to drive clean and you have to accept the racing rules and track limits.
Make sure we have your real name and Steam ID for the live stats tracker.
Last but not least for these smaller events you don’t even need your own car livery (only if you want to).
We hope to see you on the track.
Another driver who made it onto our User Wall of Fame. Our congratulations goes this time to Bernd Weingart who finished 1st and to the other podiums finishers, Kris Vickers finished on the second position and Barry Kostjens who ended up on the 3rd place after 19 laps. They really had a very close finish (Gap between 1st and 2nd place was +00.036) in the T7R Monday Night Racing Event, on the 16. November 2015 in their Audi R8 LMS, around the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg Austria.

We posted in June 2015 that Assetto Corsa will be available on the Xbox One and the Playstation 4 somewhere in 2016, and that Kunos Simulazioni were partnering with the publisher 505 Games to do that.
This AC version should contain the same physics model and the same content as the PC version. But the GUI (Graphical User Interface) will be changed to be suitable for the consoles.
Here are some pre-alpha screenshots of the new console GUI:
