BTCC T7R Mod V1.1 – UPDATE

Thanks for all the input we got from a lot of you drivers and from our testers. Today we can present you the first update of our BTCC T7R Mod (from V1.0 to V1.1).

Important Note:
- If you already got the V1.0 Mod, then you only need the tiny (~177 KB) V1.0 to V1.1 update!!!
- Only if you don’t have the mod at all you would need the big (~290 MB) V1.1 full version download.
- The extra BTCC Classic Skinpack and the Basic Skin Templates are still fully compatible with V1.1

All the downloads are as usual directly on our BTCC Mod Website
or in our Download section “AC Car Downloads” and you need to be “logged in” to download it.

BTCC T7R Mod Changelog V1.0 to V1.1

  • Honda, Ford & Toyota:
    - Steer Ratio increased
    - Steer Anim increased
    - FF Multi reduced
    - Diff Coast Lock increased
    - Front ARB increased
    - Rear ARB decreased
    - Front Spring Rate increased
    - Flashing headlights added
    - Fuel consumption decreased
    - Steer assist increased
    - Added “Dampers” to the setup option
    - Tyre temperatures tweaked
  • BMW:
    - Steer Ratio increased
    - Steer Anim increased
    - FF Multi reduced
    - Flashing headlights added
    - Fuel consumption decreased
    - Steer assist increased
    - Added “Dampers” to the setup option

    Thanks Masaru for the feed back. Please explain more on the "flame_presets" as I would be interested in this.

    I’m no expert on this, the only thing I do is copy and paste this file and add next to that already exists in the data folder along with that of flames that already has the exact coordinates and add one of flames in the folder Textures . Sorry I do not speak English.

    I don’t think they have any 3d model access to the other cars in btcc. Maybe the Chevrolet Cruze WTCC that’s out for Assetto can be used. As I think it’s not that different from the btcc version. Just put on a new skin and physics.
    But for the Mercedes a modeler is probably needed who takes on the project. Would be cool do to have the audi s3, proton, vw in it to.

    Pretty much what Dutchy says.

    We`re not modellers by any stretch. We can dabble and edit, but making a car from scratch takes time and skill we didn`t and don`t have.

    We do have a Cruze to work on, but I can`t remember where Fordy got with permissions and may be why it`s going nowhere.

    I am also following a "lead" for 2 other cars that somebody contacted me about, that could be available. What they are, I cannot say atm, until they are confirmed, as in concrete :D

    Watched the video (and enjoyed it) while having my morning coffee :mrgreen: . Really cool stuff, rubbing here, touching there, swapping paint, catching the car or loosing it, etc. Looks like most of you guys had great fun.

    And not like the BS some others said (Mod is totally unusable for multiplayer because it has no LOD).To me it looks like it works pretty well. :P

    Can you record a video of it happening?

    This isn`t something I`ve seen or heard of before, so the more information you can give about it, the better :)

    yes strange have seen videos and is running fine mine when acelerate it stay in 2gear stuck for while the shifts up

    Looks like you`ve got auto gears set?

    Must be most other people have manual gears, as you`re the first person to flag this, so thank you.

    We`ll have a look at the autoshift settings and fix this.

    Auto shift down was set higher than the revs hit when changing into second gear, thus entering the ‘loop of doom’ lol

    You may have to cope with this for a short while, but we`ll include this fix in the next update which is due soon, but shhhhh, don`t tell everyone!! :lol:
